Stepping Up, Scaling Back
I knew I had to step on the scale today, for no other reason than to assess the damage I'd done in December. I had lost about 25 pounds in the fall, but I gained ten of it back since Thanksgiving! It's time to get back to regular workouts, and eating according to a plan. Today I did my 3.5 mile loop around the neighborhood, but I was only able to jog about half of it because of the hills. By next weekend I'd like to be able to jog the whole thing again. Even though I had to contend with my body and sideways rain, it felt good to be out there, living the life. Thanks be to God for this!
